Alleppey Marathon 2027

Cancellation and refunds

This policy covers entry fees paid to Athletico De Alleppey (“the club”) for the Alleppey Marathon 2027, held on Sunday 10 January 2027.

If you cancel your entry

To cancel, email athleticodealleppey@gmail.com from the email address you registered with, giving your entry number (it starts with AHM27-). The date we receive your email decides the refund:

• On or before 10 December 2026: the entry fee is refunded, less ₹100 for handling.
• 11 December 2026 to 3 January 2027: half the entry fee is refunded.
• After 3 January 2027: no refund. By then bibs, timing chips and T-shirts have been ordered for every runner.

Once you cancel, your bib number is cancelled and can’t be used. Entries can’t be transferred to another runner, so a cancelled place goes back on sale.

Full refunds

You get the whole amount back if:

• you paid twice for the same entry, or paid more than the amount shown;
• you paid, but the club couldn’t confirm your entry, for example because the race filled up first;
• the club cancels the event for reasons within its control.

If the event is changed or cancelled for reasons beyond the club’s control

If the event has to be postponed, shortened or cancelled because of weather, flooding, government or police orders, public health rules or a similar reason, the club will email every runner within 7 days to say what happens to entries. This will be a transfer to the new date or a partial refund. Costs the club has already paid for your kit and timing may be kept.

Not refundable

• Not turning up on race day, or not finishing.
• Kit not collected during the kit collection hours.
• Being stopped by the medical team or marshals on safety grounds.
• Being disqualified for giving false details, running with someone else’s bib, or breaking the entry terms.

How refunds are paid

• Refunds go back to the account, UPI ID or card you paid from. We can’t pay a refund to anyone else.
• We approve or decline a request within 5 working days. Once approved, the refund is sent within 7 working days. Your bank may take another 5 to 7 working days to show it.
• If you haven’t received an approved refund within 15 working days, contact us and we’ll send you the transaction reference.
